The Other Me

By Disha Vyas

A teenage girl begins to notice strange, repetitive events in her life—until she discovers she's being followed by her own doppelgänger. As reality blurs, the film explores her battle with mental health, symbolising how internal struggles can silently haunt us. Inspired by real issues in the British Indian community, this psychological short raises awareness about mental well-being.

My experience at college has been both creative and challenging. I’ve explored different aspects of film and media, from directing short films to editing and working behind the camera. I’ve gained hands-on experience through group projects, presentations, and campaigns that allowed me to express my identity and raise awareness about important issues like feminism and mental health. Collaborating with others and developing my own ideas has helped me grow in confidence, and it’s made me even more passionate about acting and storytelling.
