First Year Work
By Teddy-James
This work showcases my best pieces from the first year of the digital publishing course. Each piece tells a story of progression through my design journey, as I learn new skills through workshops within lessons. Throughout these pieces, you will also find that they are in different styles, showcasing my attempt to experiment and find out what style I work best with, aided by the various briefs given that bring about these styles
Coming to the end of my first year studying digital publishing, I am amazed by how comfortable I have become with the software. Starting the course with little to no knowledge about the software, in just one year, I have learnt so much. This became apparent when doing my final project of the first year, seeing that I was using the software to its full capability with the various industry skills I have developed. With these skills, when starting university or going into a media career, I believe that I will have an advantage over most, with this course providing skills that I didn't think I would have this early.
